Destination Wedding in iceland
Kay and Dion’s elopement was the perfect combination of adventure, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable moments. Their day began at a beautiful villa, where they got ready together and enjoyed a relaxed morning before setting off to explore some of Iceland’s most spectacular landscapes.
Driving through Iceland’s dramatic countryside and following parts of the famous Golden Circle felt like stepping into another world. Towering mountains, endless open spaces, and ever-changing scenery surrounded them as they made their way to one of the most iconic locations on the island.
For their vow exchange, we chose a magnificent waterfall plunging 60 meters into the landscape below. Standing in front of this powerful natural wonder, with the mist in the air and the sound of rushing water all around them, Kay and Dion shared their personal vows in a truly unforgettable setting.
As the day unfolded, we continued exploring some of Iceland’s most beautiful hidden gems. One of the highlights was a field of blooming purple lupines, where we captured romantic wedding portraits surrounded by vibrant colors and stunning mountain views. Dion’s subtle lilac suit complemented the flowers perfectly, creating a beautiful connection between the couple and the landscape.
On the journey back, we stopped at several breathtaking viewpoints, soaking in the beauty of Iceland’s wild and untouched nature. The entire day felt adventurous, emotional, and authentic – perfectly reflecting who they are as a couple.
Planning this elopement and discovering some of Iceland’s most spectacular locations for both the ceremony and photographs was such a joy. The island offers endless possibilities for couples who dream of a wedding experience that feels adventurous, personal, and completely connected to nature.
